$BKN expands onto Binance Smart Chain (BSC)

Brickken is excited to announce that the $BKN is officially bridged onto Binance Smart Chain (BSC). This decision was taken with the Public Round and its daily release vesting schedule in mind. Consequently, Public Round Participants will claim their tokens directly on BSC to ensure low fees are incurred. 

This also means that you as a $BKN holder can move tokens across the 2 chains and in the future interact with various dApps on either of the 2 chains. 

This is an initial step in going multi-chain, first applying to the native $BKN and later on, having the Brickken Token Suite accommodate a multitude of chains for clients to choose for themselves what chain is optimal in their particular case.

$BKN is bridged using the Wormholes Portal Token Bridge.

1. Go to https://www.portalbridge.com/#/transfer
2. In the Tokens-tab, choose the source & target chain (ETH -> BSC / BSC -> ETH)
3. Connect your wallet
4. Paste the BKN address of the source chain (see contracts below)
5. Follow the instructions in the video

Will there be any $BKN liquidity on BSC?

Regardless if you have $BKN on Ethereum or BSC, you can move the tokens to the Centralized Exchange and trade. There is no need to bridge back and forth in order to trade your tokens.

Can I claim my Public Round tokens on BSC?

Yes, one of the main reasoning for bridging the BKN was to ensure lower transaction fees for Brickkeneers looking to recurrently claim their tokens in accordance with the vesting without incurring significant fees from doing so. Consequently, the tokens will only be claimable on BSC, and later bridged back to Ethereum is desired.

Can wBKN be moved onto BSC?

There is no bridge for the wBKN. Claiming after the staking period, or swapping 1 year after listing, will be done natively on Ethereum. 

Can I bridge $BKN between the 2 chains?

Yes, you can either bridge your BSC tokens to ETH or vice versa if they originate on Ethereum.

Can Clients tokenize on BSC?

The Token Suite is yet to be expanded onto any other Chain than Ethereum, but it is part of the roadmap to make our tech blockchain agnostic for clients to choose themselves which chain is optimal for their offering.
